Marathon Digital Holdings Mines 890 BTC, Boosts Holdings to 44,893 BTC with 15% Hashrate Increase

Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. (MARA) reported a 15% increase in its energized hashrate to 53.2 EH/s and mined 890 Bitcoin (BTC) in December 2024. The company's Bitcoin holdings grew to 44,893 BTC by the end of the year, with a Bitcoin yield per share of 62.7%. Additionally, MARA had 7,377 BTC loaned to third parties as of December 31, 2024, and surpassed its year-end hash rate target of 50 EH/s. The broader Bitcoin network saw its hashrate increase by 56% in 2024, reaching 800 EH/s, and is projected to hit 1 ZH/s by 2027. MARA's enterprise value is $2.2 billion, with the Bitcoin on its balance sheet valued at $4.4 billion, coinciding with Bitcoin's 16th anniversary.
