A deputy nursery manager, Kate Roughley, has been found guilty of causing the death of a nine-month-old baby girl at a Stockport nursery. The baby suffocated after being strapped face down on a bean bag for over 90 minutes as a form of punishment. Roughley was convicted of manslaughter for her actions, which left the child virtually immobilised and unable to breathe.
