Two Chinese Nationals Charged, Indicted for Illegal Export of U.S. Semiconductor Tech
Apr 26, 2024, 10:17 PM
Two Chinese nationals, Han Li, also known as Anson Li, and Lin Chen, have been charged with crimes and indicted for allegedly conspiring to illegally export advanced semiconductor technology from the United States to China. The technology includes a machine manufactured by California-based Dynatex International, used to process silicon wafer microchips. The indictment, unsealed in December 2020, accuses the individuals of attempting to export this technology to Chengdu GaStone Technology, a manufacturer in China. One of the accused was arrested in Chicago.
