Romania and Latvia have reported incursions into their airspace by Russian drones in early September, raising concerns among NATO members. Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar emphasized the need for a 'robust and coordinated' NATO response to these violations. The breaches occurred as Russian missiles and drones, targeting Ukraine, entered NATO airspace, including in Romania and Latvia. During a NATO meeting in Bucharest on September 18, Tilvar reiterated the call for a decisive reaction from the alliance. B9 states also expressed concern over these airspace breaches.
