Nevada Supreme Court Removes Green Party’s Jill Stein From Ballot; SCOTUS Intervention Sought
Sep 13, 2024, 11:20 PM
The Nevada Supreme Court has removed Green Party candidate Jill Stein from the November ballot on September 9. The decision followed a lawsuit by the Nevada Democratic Party, which argued that Stein's campaign used incorrect wording on its petitions, a mistake allegedly advised by the office of Nevada's Democratic Secretary of State, Cisco Aguilar. In response, the Nevada Green Party has appealed to the Supreme Court on September 13 to allow Stein on the state's ballot. Trump's former lawyer has also asked SCOTUS on September 14 to intervene on behalf of Stein.
