BLACKPINK's Jennie Apologizes for Indoor Vaping Incident in Italy, Captured in YouTube Vlog
Jul 9, 2024, 01:23 PM
K-pop star Jennie of BLACKPINK has issued an apology after being filmed smoking a vape indoors in Italy. The incident, which was captured in a now-deleted video from a recent YouTube vlog, has sparked significant online outcry and led to a formal complaint being filed with Seoul's foreign ministry on July 9. Smoking cigarettes or vapes indoors is illegal in South Korea. Jennie's agency, OA Entertainment, released a statement acknowledging the incident and stating that Jennie has personally apologized to all on-site staff who may have been affected. The South Korean government is now petitioned to investigate the incident further.
