Thailand Bus Fire Kills 23 from Wat Khao School; 16 Hospitalized

A bus carrying 44 students and teachers from Wat Khao school in Uthai Thani caught fire near Bangkok after a reported tyre explosion. The incident occurred in Pathum Thani province, in front of Zeer Rangsit shopping centre, during a field trip. At least 16 people have been hospitalized, and 23 bodies have been recovered, including 20 students and 3 teachers. The driver reportedly fled the scene. Forensic investigators are collecting evidence to determine the cause of the fire. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed her deepest condolences to the families of the injured and deceased.
