Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of Telegram, has been detained at Le Bourget airport in Paris. The Paris Judiciary Tribunal has published 12 charges against him, brought by French prosecutors. These charges include complicity for illegal transactions by organized crime groups, refusal to provide authorities with necessary information or documents, complicity in storing pornographic materials, including those involving minors, and complicity in drug trafficking. The French Ministry of Justice has confirmed his detention, and he is currently under a 96-hour custody period as the investigation continues.
