Netanyahu to Undergo Prostate Surgery at Hadassah Hospital Due to Urinary Tract Infection
Dec 28, 2024, 09:26 PM
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to undergo surgery to remove his prostate on Sunday at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, following a diagnosis of a urinary tract infection caused by benign prostate enlargement. The 75-year-old leader was examined at the hospital, where the condition was identified. Netanyahu has been treated with antibiotics for several days to address the infection. Despite the upcoming surgery, the weekly cabinet meeting is expected to proceed as planned. This is not the first medical procedure for Netanyahu this year; he previously underwent hernia surgery in March and had a pacemaker implanted in July 2023.
