Former LSU WR Kyren Lacy Wanted for Fatal Hit-and-Run Killing 78-Year-Old Marine
Jan 10, 2025, 08:16 PM
Former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy is wanted by the Louisiana State Police on charges of negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run, and reckless operation of a vehicle following a fatal crash on December 17, 2024, in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. The incident resulted in the death of 78-year-old Herman Hall, a former US Marine, and injured two others. Authorities allege that Lacy caused the crash and fled the scene without rendering aid or notifying law enforcement. Lacy declared for the NFL Draft two days after the crash and is projected as a first-round pick. LSU has issued a statement expressing no comment out of respect for the legal process. Lacy is expected to turn himself in to authorities.
