Delhi's Record Cocaine Bust: Five Arrested Including UK Green Card Holder; Kingpin Believed in Dubai
Oct 4, 2024, 04:40 AM
The Delhi Police's Special Cell has busted an international drug racket in what is being described as a record drug haul for the city. Additional Commissioner of Police Special Cell, Pramod Singh Kushwaha, announced the arrests of five individuals, including the main receiver in India, identified as Tushar, and UK green card holder Jitendra Pal Singh, also known as Jassi, who was apprehended at Amritsar airport while attempting to flee to the United Kingdom. Kushwaha stated, "An international drug racket has been busted. This drug racket was being controlled by a drug handler from the Middle East." Investigations have traced the drug route from Panama to Mahipalpur and revealed suspected links to the UK and Dubai. While some reports indicate that the mastermind has been arrested, sources suggest the kingpin is currently in Dubai.
