Manhunt Underway for Ronald Lee Syrvud, Suspect Threatening Trump in Arizona
Aug 22, 2024, 07:15 PM
Authorities in Cochise County, Arizona, have launched an urgent manhunt for Ronald Lee Syrvud, a 66-year-old convicted sex offender, who allegedly threatened to assassinate former President Donald Trump during his visit to the U.S.-Mexico border today. Syrvud, who has prior convictions for second-degree offenses and active warrants from Wisconsin and Graham County, reportedly made the threats as Trump was scheduled to visit the border area. Law enforcement officials attempted to apprehend Syrvud at his residence, but he was not found. The search for Syrvud continues as Trump proceeds with his border visit.
