A Philadelphia Court jury ruled in favor of Bayer's Monsanto unit in the Young Roundup product liability trial. The trial, presided over by Judge Angelo Foglietta in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, concluded with the jury finding no liability on the part of Monsanto for the claims related to its Roundup product. Bayer AG acquired Monsanto for $63 billion in 2018. The verdict was reached on September 12, 2024.
