Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Arrested by ED, Wife Claims Political Conspiracy; BJP MP Responds
Jul 6, 2024, 12:34 PM
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) based on what his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, claims is a false witness statement. Sunita Kejriwal alleges that her husband is a victim of a deep political conspiracy and has released a video message requesting public support. She specifically accuses an NDA MP of giving a false statement to the ED to protect his son. The Delhi court has refused Sunita Kejriwal's request to be present during her husband's medical consultation while he is in judicial custody for a money laundering case. However, the court has allowed her to independently consult the doctors examining him. BJP MP Yogender Chandoliya has responded, suggesting that Sunita Kejriwal is questioning the judiciary and should address her concerns to Mangoota Reddy, who mentioned Arvind Kejriwal's name.
