Ukraine Targets Druzhba Pipeline and Rosneft Depot in Bryansk and Smolensk with Drones
Dec 31, 2024, 02:52 AM
Ukraine has reportedly conducted drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, targeting the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region and an oil depot in the Smolensk region. In Bryansk, the attack occurred near the city of Novozybkov, using a new type of missile-drone called 'Peklo'. Although the pipeline itself was not damaged, a technical building on the site was partially destroyed. In the Smolensk region, a drone attack caused a fire at a Rosneft oil depot in the Yartsevo district, leading to a fuel spill and ongoing efforts by emergency crews to extinguish the blaze. The attacks highlight ongoing tensions and military actions between Ukraine and Russia.
