Iran's Revolutionary Guards Ban Communication Devices After Deadly Attacks on Hezbollah by Israel: Reuters
Sep 23, 2024, 06:07 AM
Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has ordered all members to stop using any type of communication devices after thousands of pagers and walkie-talkies used by its Hezbollah allies in Lebanon blew up in deadly attacks last week. The directive follows a large-scale operation by the IRGC to inspect all devices, not just communication ones. The attacks, reportedly carried out by Israel, resulted in significant damage and loss of communication capabilities for Hezbollah. Two senior Iranian security officials confirmed the news to Reuters.
