Putin and Pezeshkian Sign 20-Year Strategic Partnership Agreement in Moscow

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Moscow on Friday to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and sign a 20-year Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement. Prior to the meeting at the Kremlin, Pezeshkian laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He also met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who termed the visit 'historic'. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in areas such as defense, energy, finance, transport, industry, agriculture, culture, science, and technology. Pezeshkian conveyed greetings from Iran's Supreme Leader and emphasized the importance of Iran-Russia relations. The leaders discussed Iran's nuclear program and regional issues, marking a new chapter in bilateral ties.
