Mastercard has partnered with European crypto payments firm Mercuryo to launch a euro-denominated non-custodial crypto debit card. This new card allows users to spend cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, directly from self-custodial wallets at over 100 million merchants worldwide. The initiative, which is targeted at Europe, marks an expansion of Mastercard's support for non-custodial crypto wallets, following a successful pilot with MetaMask.
