China is implementing new regulations to label AI-generated content in a bid to combat misinformation. The regulations include techniques such as audio morse codes, invisible watermarks, encrypted metadata, and labels in VR-generated scenes. This initiative aims to mitigate the misuse of AI-generated content by verifying its source. Tech Guru AIGenius highlighted the potential future of AI watermarks. According to a recent report by the United Nations World Intellectual Property Organization, China filed more than 38,000 generative AI patents between 2014 and 2023, highlighting its aggressive push to dominate AI advancement.
