LinkedIn has updated its data privacy settings to include a generative AI training toggle, which is automatically enabled for users outside the European Union, including those in the UK. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has issued a statement regarding these changes to LinkedIn's AI data policy. Users outside the EU can opt out of allowing LinkedIn to use their data for training AI algorithms through a one-click opt-out link.
