MEA and SBI Sign MoU to Integrate SBIePay with eMigrate Portal for Indian Migrant Workers

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India and the State Bank of India (SBI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate SBI's digital payment service, SBIePay, with the eMigrate portal. This collaboration aims to enhance digital payment services for Indian migrant workers, Recruiting Agents (RAs), and other users of the eMigrate portal. The new payment gateway will allow users to pay emigration-related fees without transaction charges, providing a significant benefit to Indian migrant workers. The agreement is part of the Govt of India's efforts to improve digital payment options.
