Two Iranian Air Defense Soldiers Killed in Israeli Airstrikes
Oct 26, 2024, 08:21 AM
Two Iranian soldiers were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military targets overnight, according to statements from the Iranian Army. The soldiers, identified as Major Hamzeh Jahandideh and Sergeant Mohammad Mehdi Shahrokhifar, were members of the air defense forces stationed at the Sar Bandar air defense position in Khuzestan province. The Iranian Army reported that the soldiers died while defending Iran's security and confronting missiles launched by Israel, describing them as martyrs. Israeli authorities have not commented on the strikes, which have heightened tensions between the two nations. Israel has warned against any retaliation.
