The terrorist organization Islamic State – West Africa Province (ISWAP) has claimed responsibility for killing four Shia civilians in an armed attack in Yobe, northeast Nigeria. This attack marks a rare instance of ISWAP targeting Shia individuals, as the group has not claimed such an attack in nearly a decade, since November 2015. The attack is being publicized through photos and a formal statement issued yesterday by ISWAP.
