Supreme Court Forms Committee Led by Justice Nawab Singh for Shambhu Border Farmers' Grievances

The Supreme Court of India has constituted a high-power committee to address the grievances of protesting farmers at the Shambhu border near Ambala. The committee is headed by Justice Nawab Singh, a former judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The farmers have been protesting at the border since February 13. The Supreme Court has directed the committee to convene its first meeting within a week to begin resolving the issues.
