A senior Hezbollah commander, Mohammed Nasser, was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting his vehicle in southern Lebanon. According to Israeli military sources, Nasser was responsible for a unit that fired rockets into Israel. In retaliation for the killing, Hezbollah launched over 200 rockets and a squadron of drones targeting five Israeli military positions. The rocket barrage is reported to be one of the largest yet, causing numerous casualties among Israeli soldiers. The information was confirmed by two security sources to Reuters.
