Lebanese Authorities Find Explosive Devices Detonated via Electronic Messages and Signals

Lebanese authorities have concluded that communications devices that exploded in Lebanon this week were implanted with explosives before arriving in the country. The preliminary investigation, as reported by Lebanon's UN mission, revealed that the devices, which included pagers and hand-held radios, were detonated via electronic messages and electronic signals. This information was conveyed to the UN Security Council in a letter.
