Nov 12, 2024, 10:32 AM
Israel's political-security cabinet has approved expanding humanitarian aid to Gaza, following threats of an arms embargo by the Biden administration, as reported by Channel 13. The new Kissufim Crossing with the southern Gaza Strip has been opened for the delivery of humanitarian aid, as announced by the Defense Ministry's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) on Tuesday. The aid will enter Gaza after being checked at the Kerem Shalom Crossing. The IDF and COGAT confirmed the opening of the Kissufim Crossing, which is in accordance with directives from the political echelon.
