India Condemns Breach at Bangladesh Mission in Agartala, Vows to Enhance Security

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has condemned the breach of premises at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, Tripura, calling the incident 'deeply regrettable.' The MEA emphasized that diplomatic and consular properties should not be targeted under any circumstances. In response to the breach, the Indian government has announced plans to enhance security measures for Bangladesh's diplomatic missions across India. Bangladesh's Foreign Ministry has also expressed its deep resentment over the 'attack,' reminding India of its obligations under the Vienna Convention.
