Aug 5, 2024, 08:11 PM
On July 31, Russia resumed its use of North Korean ballistic missiles against Ukraine, launching a KN-23 missile from Russian territory towards Bila Tserkva. The missile exploded mid-air over the Kyiv region, marking the first use of North Korean missiles in five months, according to Defense Express. Reports indicate that up to six missiles, including Iskander-M and KN-23, were launched in the attack, resulting in multiple explosions in Kyiv and its suburbs. The attack occurred after air raid sirens sounded, and Ukrainian air defenses intercepted some of the missiles.
