Zelensky Condemns Russia's 'Inhumane' Christmas Attack on Ukraine

On Christmas Day, December 25, 2024, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, causing widespread power outages across the country. The strikes resulted in at least one death and left half a million residents in the Kharkiv region without heating, disrupting services in 2,677 buildings. The attacks forced Ukrainians to take shelter in metro stations on Christmas morning.
