NPC Labs, a web3 gaming infrastructure startup founded by three former Coinbase employees, has raised $21 million in pre-seed and seed funding. The funding round was led by Pantera Capital, with contributions from Hashed and other investors. The funds will be used to develop a gaming ecosystem on the Base network and to help players discover Web3 games across numerous blockchain networks. NPC Labs aims to simplify on-chain gaming for developers and players by providing high transaction throughput and near gasless transactions.
