Sep 19, 2024, 03:10 AM
Vahan, a Bangalore-based AI-powered recruitment platform specializing in blue-collar workers, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. The funding round was led by Khosla Ventures, with support from Y Combinator and other investors, including Silicon Valley billionaire Vinod Khosla. Vahan uses generative AI models to reach and recruit gig workers from India's small cities and towns, serving clients like Amazon, Uber, and Swiggy. The funds will be used to develop AI recruitment technology and to expand its verticals, according to Vahan’s founder and CEO, Madhav Krishna.
