Aug 8, 2024, 06:55 AM
The world's largest 3D-printed neighborhood is nearing completion in Wolf Ranch, a community in Georgetown, Texas, approximately 30 miles from Austin. This innovative project, initiated by ICON in November 2022, involves the use of a 45-foot-wide robotic printer to construct 100 houses. The printer, known as the Vulcan, operates by layering materials to build structures and weighs 4.75 tons. The completion of this neighborhood marks a significant advancement in the use of 3D printing technology in residential construction.
