VisitIranian Ministry Confirms No Iranian Crude on Ceres I in Singapore Collision on Saturday

Two oil tankers collided off the coast of Singapore on Friday. The Iranian Ministry of Petroleum announced on Saturday that neither of the tankers involved in the collision, including the Ceres I, were carrying Iranian crude oil. The Ceres I had previously been implicated in violating US sanctions by transferring Iranian oil. Malaysia’s coast guard is tracking the whereabouts of the Ceres I following the collision. Tehran has reiterated that no Iranian crude was on the tankers.
