Whistleblower Alleges James Comey Ordered FBI Infiltration of Trump 2016 Campaign, House Judiciary Committee Investigates
Oct 29, 2024, 06:45 PM
A whistleblower has come forward with allegations that former FBI Director James Comey ordered an off-the-books operation to infiltrate Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. According to the whistleblower, two female FBI undercover agents, referred to as 'honey pots,' were directed to infiltrate the Trump campaign at high levels and travel with Trump and his campaign staff. The operation allegedly began soon after Trump announced his presidential campaign in June 2015. The House Judiciary Committee is currently examining the whistleblower's report, which claims that the agents targeted Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos. The whistleblower also asserts that Comey personally directed the investigation. The Washington Times reported that this operation predated the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.
