MrBeast and Amazon Sued in Class-Action by 'Beast Games' Contestants Over Mistreatment in Las Vegas
Sep 18, 2024, 12:38 AM
A class-action lawsuit has been filed against YouTube star MrBeast and Amazon by five unnamed contestants from the 'Beast Games' reality competition show. The lawsuit, filed on Monday in Las Vegas, alleges chronic mistreatment, sexual harassment, failure to pay overtime and minimum wages, and unfair business practices. The contestants claim they were not provided with uninterrupted meal and rest breaks and had to cover expenses without reimbursement. Several contestants reportedly ended up hospitalized due to the conditions on set. The lawsuit also includes allegations of emotional distress. The show, described by some as chaotic and reminiscent of the Fyre Festival, is currently under scrutiny.
