Sep 9, 2024, 06:42 PM
SpaceX's Starlink factory in Bastrop, Texas, has achieved a significant milestone by producing 1 million Starlink Standard kits in just 10 months since its opening. The facility, which is Starlink's largest hardware manufacturing site, is currently expanding to meet the growing global demand for high-speed internet. The factory is responsible for manufacturing 90,000 user terminals per week, equating to 4.68 million terminals annually, averaging about 3,300 kits per day. This expansion aims to further ramp up production to cater to the surging demand for Starlink's services worldwide.
