Sony Shuts Down Firewalk Studios, Concord, and Neon Koi
Oct 29, 2024, 05:52 PM
Sony has announced the closure of Firewalk Studios, the developer behind the recent PS5 shooter Concord. The decision comes less than two years after Sony acquired the studio. Concord, which faced a troubled release, will also be permanently shut down. In addition to Firewalk Studios, Sony is also closing mobile game developer Neon Koi. Sony stated that after exploring all options, they determined the best path forward was to permanently sunset Concord and close the studio. This information was confirmed in an internal email from Herman Hulst.
