G7 Condemns Iran's Ballistic Missile Exports to Russia Amid Ukraine War
Sep 14, 2024, 05:29 PM
The foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) have issued a strong condemnation of Iran's export and Russia's procurement of Iranian ballistic missiles. In a statement released on Saturday, September 14, the G7 foreign ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, the US, and the EU Foreign Policy Chief urged Iran to immediately cease all support for Russia's illegal and unjustifiable war against Ukraine. The G7 emphasized that the transfer of ballistic missiles from Iran to Russia constitutes a violation of international agreements and escalates regional tensions.
