Penn State Shuts Out Kent State 56-0, Sets New Offensive Record with 718 Yards

Penn State dominated Kent State in a lopsided 56-0 victory, improving their record to 3-0. Drew Allar led the Nittany Lions with an impressive performance, completing 17 of 21 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for another score. Beau Pribula also contributed with a touchdown pass to Khalil Dinkins. Liam Clifford had a standout game, catching a touchdown pass. The team set a new program record with 718 total yards of offense, surpassing the previous record set in 1926. Penn State's defense was equally formidable, holding Kent State to just 67 yards. Freshman players Max Granville, Anthony Speca, and Eagan Boyer made their collegiate debuts. The Nittany Lions will face Illinois next week.
