Kim Jong Un Orders Mass Production of Suicide Drones After Successful Tests
Nov 15, 2024, 02:30 AM
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has ordered the mass production of suicide attack drones, according to state media reports on Friday. Kim oversaw performance tests of various types of the drones produced by the Unmanned Aerial Technology Complex and other enterprises at a factory. He expressed satisfaction with the newly developed weapons and emphasized the need to accelerate their mass production, stating that the introduction of such drones around the world requires an urgent update of military theory. The drones, designed to crash into targets and explode, were tested against tanks and other targets. Pyongyang has also accused Seoul of flying unmanned aerial vehicles over its capital, calling it a "war provocation."
