MrBeast and Amazon Sued Over 'Beast Games' Allegations of Sexual Harassment and Unpaid Wages
Sep 18, 2024, 08:54 AM
YouTube star MrBeast and Amazon are facing a class-action lawsuit filed by five unnamed contestants from the reality competition show 'Beast Games.' The lawsuit alleges chronic mistreatment, including sexual harassment, failure to pay minimum wages and overtime, and not providing uninterrupted meal and rest breaks. Contestants claim they were subjected to unsafe working conditions and emotional distress in Las Vegas. The allegations also include unfair business practices, and several contestants ended up hospitalized. The show, which pits 2,000 contestants against each other for a $5 million cash prize, has been described by crew members and competitors as chaotic and comparable to the infamous Fyre Festival.
