MicroStrategy Adds 15,350 Bitcoins, Holdings Reach 439,000 BTC; Joins Nasdaq-100 Index

MicroStrategy Inc., led by CEO Michael Saylor, has acquired an additional 15,350 Bitcoins for approximately $1.5 billion at an average price of $100,386 per Bitcoin. This marks the company's sixth consecutive week of Bitcoin purchases. With this acquisition, MicroStrategy now holds a total of 439,000 Bitcoins, purchased for $27.1 billion at an average price of $61,725 per Bitcoin. The company's Bitcoin holdings are now valued at over $45.4 billion, representing about 2.1% of all Bitcoin in circulation. MicroStrategy has achieved Bitcoin yields of 46.4% quarter-to-date and 72.4% year-to-date. Additionally, Nasdaq Global Indexes announced that MicroStrategy will join the Nasdaq-100 Index and the Invesco QQQ Trust ETF on December 23, leading to its stock rising in pre-market trading.
