Maryland Democratic Leader Michael Knaapen Caught in Child Predator Sting

Michael Knaapen, chair of the Maryland Democratic Party's LGBTQ Diversity Council, was allegedly caught in a child predator sting operation on June 22, 2024. Knaapen is accused of attempting to meet a 14-year-old boy after sending sexually explicit threats of rape and sodomy. The sting was conducted by pedophile hunter Alex Rosen, known for his work with the organization iFightForKids. The Maryland Democratic Party has yet to issue a statement regarding the allegations.
