Japanese company Metaplanet, often referred to as 'Asia's MicroStrategy', has acquired an additional 156.78 Bitcoin for ¥1.6 billion ($10.4 million), bringing its total holdings to 1,018.17 BTC valued at approximately $69 million as of October 28. This purchase makes Metaplanet the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin in Asia. Following the announcement, Metaplanet's stock price surged by 8%.
