Lenovo Q1 Revenue Jumps 20%, Beats Estimates Amid AI Demand
Aug 15, 2024, 04:52 AM
Lenovo reported a significant increase in its first-quarter 2025 financial performance, with revenue rising by 20% year-over-year to $15.4 billion, surpassing the estimated $14.1 billion. The company's net profit also saw a substantial rise of 38% to USD243 million. This marks the third consecutive quarter of revenue growth for Lenovo, driven by a recovery in the PC market and increased demand for AI technology. The company's operating profit increased by 27% to $494 million, and gross profit grew by 14% to $2.56 billion. Lenovo attributed its success to the opportunities presented by hybrid AI and a gradual rebound in PC sales.
