Australian Julian Assange Arrives in Bangkok on Tuesday En Route to U.S. Court

Julian Assange, the Australian founder of WikiLeaks, has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday. Assange was photographed departing the U.K. by private plane after reaching a plea deal with U.S. prosecutors. The aircraft carrying Assange landed at Bangkok airport as part of his journey to the U.S., where he is expected to appear in court and subsequently gain his freedom. Assange's next destination is the island of Saipan, where he will be released after his trial.
