Montenegro Appellate Court Upholds Extradition of Terraform Labs' Do Kwon to South Korea
Aug 1, 2024, 03:35 PM
The Montenegro Appellate Court has upheld a decision to extradite Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon to South Korea, rejecting a request to send him to the United States. The ruling is final and not subject to appeal. Montenegro is coordinating with Interpol to arrange the extradition, which Kwon's lawyer hopes will happen as soon as possible. This decision follows a U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York's approval of a final consent judgment against Terraform Labs and Do Kwon on June 12, 2024. The ruling was reported by Bloomberg.
