EU Designates Booking.com as 'Gatekeeper', Sets 6-Month Compliance Deadline

The European Union has designated Booking.com, operated by U.S.-based Booking Holdings, as a 'gatekeeper' under the Digital Markets Act (DMA), subjecting it to stringent regulatory requirements. This designation aims to enhance competition by providing holidaymakers with more choices and offering hotels greater business opportunities.
