Jul 15, 2024, 11:19 AM
BlackRock, the world's largest money manager, has reported a record $10.6 trillion in assets under management (AUM). This milestone was achieved after the firm hauled in $51 billion of client cash into its long-term investment funds in the second quarter of 2024. The growth to $10.6 trillion in AUM also includes $600 billion gained this year from market appreciation and investment flows. BlackRock's assets now surpass the combined AUM of major competitors such as Fidelity, Capital Group, Invesco, and Franklin.
